PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Phillip was born and raised in Covington, GA. While growing up Phillip worked at his Grandparents businesses (Hendersons Resturant or Hendersons Grocery Store) Phillip still manages the grocery store along with help from his mother, aunt, and two children. You can find him there just about every day (Except when he is diving) Phillip along with his family also have a farm with cows, horses, and other animals that he enjoys working on. Phillip joined the Into The Blue Scuba Family a few years ago shortly after he and his oldest daughter earned their Open Water Diver certifications while on vacation. Phillip then had his son and other daughter certified (With Into The Blue Scuba) so he would have some additional dive buddies for life. During this time, Phillip fell in love with diving and decided to take the path to become a diving professional. He completed his Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster certifications with Into The Blue Scuba. After working with students in the pool and on dive adventures Phillip decided to continue his professional training by earning his PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification (February 2023) Since earning his instructor rating Phillip has continued moving up the instructor ranks by earning his Specialty Instructor rating and just completed the requirements for his Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating. Phillip also has one other major achivement under his weight belt that not many instructors have. Phillip was able to teach and certify his wife recently as an Open Water Diver. Now she can keep a watchful eye on him above and beneath the waves :)-
